The Green Lantern Corps was founded by the Guardians of the Universe, from the world of Oa, 3 billion years ago to curb the spread of evil throughout the universe. The Guardians divided the universe into 3,600 known sectors and assembled the Corps from individuals who would valiantly defend their segment of space, armed with specially crafted power rings.
The Guardians are always on the lookout for new recruits and it has been determined that you are worthy of joining the ranks of the most awesome protectors of the universe around. To get started, you’ll need a Power Ring (your energy source) and a Green Lantern Outfit.
The Power Ring
Every Green Lantern has a power ring that creates hard-light projections by drawing energy from the Central Power Battery on the Guardian’s home world of Oa. (Just be aware that the Green Lantern Power Rings are ineffective against anything yellow.) Armed with an officially licensed Green Lantern Ring, you’ll be able to accomplish feats limited only by your will and imagination.
Once you’ve secured your power source, you’re ready for your officially licensed Green Lantern Outfit. While these outfits have a standard style, there are some variations that can really make you stand out in a crowd. Kids Green Lantern Costume
Since kids have the most vivid imaginations, they make some of the best recruits. And, they can do it in style with the Kids Green Lantern Light-Up Muscle Costume. Based on Hal Jordan’s outfit in the feature film released in June 2011, this costume is available in sizes small, medium and large.
